Plasters
As winner of the prestigious Helen Hamlyn and DBA annual Inclusive Design Awards, our idea takes a new look at a previously untouched design standard, namely the sticking plaster.
Should you cut a finger you instantly become disabled, losing the use of the injured hand. We invented and patented a new way of packaging the plaster so that it can be both removed from the packaging and be applied with one hand.
At the award ceremony a thalidomide sufferer gave it a "toes-up" saying it was the first plaster he had ever been able to apply. Importantly, Clevername won the competition because its benefit applied to everyone, able-bodied or disabled alike.
We have been active in inclusivity for 20 years and are now helping world leading brands develop inclusive products.
